My holiday baking was pretty lack luster this year. Too much going on, too much sugar in the house already but it really is one of my favorite things to do. So even though it is way past the holidays I made this Upside-down Cranberry Cake yesterday which was much enjoyed. I'll be baking again soon but with the New Year comes a release on sugar, begone empty calories and sugar headaches! What to do about next year's holiday cooking.... well I have a while to think about it. What can I do to take out the sugar, take out the excess of the holidays in general but still foster generosity and create new traditions.... humm... time to take on some sleuthing.
