I love browsing Etsy and seeing what other bloggers are putting in their shops. This kid's bag from JCasa handmade is so cute and I adore the woodland theme of the fabric. Soon it will be sitting in our house. Honestly it’s more of a purchase for me than the Chickpea. I know I've got years ahead of me toting her gear, but I'm getting just a wee bit tired of being a pack mule on our outings so it’s time for her to share the task. She can carry her own dolly, water bottle and change of pants. And I think she’ll actually be quite happy to do so.
While this is only my 3rd Etsy purchase, I should shop there more. It's really just like shopping locally at my farmer's market, supporting independant folks. I think I fall in love with the handmade goodness, craftmanship and uniqueness but then fall short when I consider my wallet and my skills. I hear myself saying... "Do I really need those cute earings?" -OR- "I could make a hat like that myself." I can't always bring myself to spend money on myself. And really I don't have time to make everything myself or get through the learning curve with a new project. So sometimes you have to say what the heck, buy it, don't feel guilty and enjoy.
